A Note About Microfibres
Items containing polyester release plastic microfibres into the environment during washing. We recommend washing at lower temperatures and using a Guppyfriend bag or similar microfibre filter to help reduce this impact.
How We Package Your Order
Every order is packaged carefully to arrive safely while keeping environmental impact in mind. What we use depends on where you are and what you've ordered.
Packaging Materials:
- Poly mailers (white or grey) - Made from at least 70% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic
- Clear inner bags - At least 30% PCR plastic, used when you order multiple items
- Cardboard boxes - For larger or fragile pieces
- Compostable eco mailers - Used in Australia with clear composting instructions
- Bubble envelopes - For specific items
- Stay-flat envelopes - Extra support for prints and flat items
Your Apparel:
Our apparel ships using packaging with 90-100% PCR plastic content. If you order multiple items, each piece goes in a clear inner bag before being placed in the mailer. Single items go straight in without the extra bag.
If you're in Australia, your order arrives in a compostable eco mailer. Orders to Japan and China use standard plastic mailers based on what's available locally.
PCR plastics are made from recycled everyday items like plastic bags and wrapping film - giving them a second life instead of ending up in landfill.
If You're in Germany:
We're registered in Germany's LUCID system and cover all required packaging fees for orders we fulfil and ship to Germany. You don't need to worry about additional costs.
Why Made-to-Order
Every piece is made especially for you once you place your order, which is why it takes a bit longer to reach you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction. Thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions.
